An Honest Note on Energy

With standard double glazing, our double slider tests at an Energy Star rating of 33, one point below the ENERGY STAR line of 34. Add the i89 room-side coating, and it reaches 35; triple pane takes it to 39, and triple with i89 meets the Most Efficient level. For a double slider, we recommend i89 as the minimum, and we’ll say so on your quote.

Taking a Sash Out

Slide the sash to the middle, tilt it toward you, then lift one corner up and out of the bottom track. Lay it flat on a towel to clean both the glass and the track it runs in. Reverse the steps to put it back. Clearing the track this way once a season keeps the sash rolling smoothly.
